Patrick Cole

Patrick Cole is an artist based in Glasgow. He graduated from Camberwell College of Art in London in 2005 and with a Master of Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2014.

Recent exhibitions include: Bullfighting, Crownpoint Studios, Glasgow International, Glasgow, 2016; Hippy!, Neoterismoi Toumazou, Nicosia, 2016 and A Cowboy’s Rite of Passage, CCA, Glasgow, 2015.

Patrick was shortlisted for the Converse x Dazed Emerging Artist Award, The Royal Academy, London in 2015; included in the Catlin Guide, 2015; received Performancepreis, Filigran Trägersysteme GmbH & Co KG, 2014 and was included in Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2013.


Micro Residencies

The Micro Residency programme is an annual open-submission residency opportunity for artists. It is primarily research based and is set up to foster experimentation, innovation and to support artists in the development of new work. Four six-week residencies are selected by a panel of invited arts professionals.

Selected artists receive:

  • £1,000 stipend
  • Studio
  • Accommodation
  • Support from the technical team
  • Support from the programme team
  • Access to all workshops / equipment / available spaces
  • 1 year’s Membership of Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop
