Covered in Toner
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop welcomes Covered in Toner for the first of Edinburgh College of Art’s Research Residencies in Art Writing. These residencies will run twice a year, based at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.
“Emerging from a shared engagement in artist’s printed matter, Covered in Toner was founded by David Rule and Jamie Sutcliffe as an informal publishing initiative to explore a mutual interest in anecdote, enthusiasm, niche vernaculars and oral histories through individual and collaborative writing evolving a collective inquiry into the generative capacities of conversation, field writing, curiosity and the ‘broken tools’ of lay-anthropological analysis.”
