2018 Reach Scotland opportunities have now been allocated.
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’s Reach Scotland Programme enables artists living and working outside Edinburgh to benefit from a period of research or production, with studio and accommodation, access to workspaces and training all offered at subsidised rates.
Our workshops are well equipped to support production and development across a range of contemporary sculptural processes and our staff team can offer advice and skills training to help artists develop their practice.
The Reach Scotland programme allows artists to access our spaces and facilities at a time and for a period suitable to them. Artists can connect with our studio community, will benefit from 24 hour access to a studio and have the opportunity for training and skills development in our specialist workshops which include wood, metal and mixed media.
Other facilities include IT space with MACS, wifi, meeting / presentation rooms and clean working spaces suitable for a variety of practice.
ESW offers up to two Reach Scotland Residencies per year. There is no deadline for applications however Reach Scotland opportunities are dependent on the availability of studios and apartments.
