Public Courses Programme 2024 open for booking!

Welcome to our 2024 Public Courses Programme!

We are delighted to launch our public courses programme for this year, starting in April 2024.

This year we have courses in Wood Carving, Stone Carving, Clay Portraiture and Ceramics.

Our public courses are open to everyone from beginners to experienced makers and are all artist-led. They are a great way to explore sculptural methods, learn different processes and make artworks.

Most of the courses will take place in our Courtyard and Outdoor Learning Studio, with adjacent North Labs inside space.
All of the spaces are fully accessible and the courses are available to book at both full price and concession rate.
We also have workshops for metal, wood, ceramics, plaster and a Foundry. If you are interested in using these workshops please get in touch to book an induction.

Members Discount
ESW Members receive a 15% discount on their booking. To become a Member apply here. If you are already a Member please check your latest Members Opportunities Newsletter for the discount code. The Member discount cannot be used with any other discount or concession price. Please choose full price when selecting the course and the member discount is applied at the checkout.

Concessions
If you are a student, over the age of 60 or in receipt of any form of benefits and cannot afford the standard course fee you can choose the concession price which offers 10% discount.

Instalments

We realise that everyone’s financial situation is different. If paying in two or three instalments over two or three months would make it possible for you to book, please contact us by emailing office@edinburghsculpture.org stating which course you are interested in, full or concession price (or Member), how many instalments, the dates of instalments and what amount per instalment. Please also include your phone number.

Supported places

We try to keep the costs as affordable as possible but, if the course fee is a barrier to you accessing this programme, we can sometimes offer financial support. Please contact us about the application process by emailing office@edinburghsculpture.org

Supporting others

If you are in the position financially to help others access making experiences at ESW contact us by emailing finance@edinburghsculpture.org and we will give you information about making a personal or corporate donation.
