Annual Funding
ESW receives revenue funding from Creative Scotland and the City of Edinburgh Council and brings in earned income from our activities but we rely on additional financial and in-kind support each year to fund our programme and major projects. If you would like to support ESW’s work with artists and community in our new building there are many ways in which you can help:

Make a Donation
You can support ESW through a once-off or regular donation which will be put towards our annual programme. In return you will benefit from opportunities to attend previews and special events and meet the artists we work with.

Direct Support for our Artists and Community
There are many sponsorship and funding opportunities linked to activities in the new sculpture centre. Fundraising campaigns such as Gift an Artist Studio have been launched to enable us to offer affordable studios to the next generation of young Scottish artists. But we will also need funding for our programme for one-off major artist projects or year-round activities such as the International Residencies Programme aimed at broadening the scope of ESW’s work and the many Bursaries and Awards we offer each year which support artists as they establish their career.

ESW works with companies and individuals to establish valuable and rewarding partnerships which are tailored to the interest of our sponsors and supporters.

In Kind Donations
We welcome offers of in-kind donations of equipment, materials or supplies which will benefit the artists working at ESW.

You can donate online by clicking the ‘Donate Now’ button below which will take you through to ESW’s page on the Charity Choice website*.

* Charity Choice is a free service for charities. We receive 100% of your donation and you can confirm if your donation is eligible for gift aid and increase your support at no extra cost to you. Please make sure to select the Data Protection options carefully to ensure you don’t receive unwanted mail.

Donate by Post

If you prefer to make a donation by cheque these should be made payable to ‘Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’. Donations from UK taxpayers may be eligible for gift aid so please print off and complete our Gift Aid Form and send to the address on the form.

(If you are donating by CAF cheque there is no need to complete a Gift Aid form)

Standing Order or Direct Debit

You can request Standing Order Forms from ESW or set up a Direct Debit to arrange regular donations of any amount with the option of giving through Gift Aid. 

Donate through a Gift of Shares

Generous tax benefits are available for donors of shares and securities listed on a recognised stock exchange. Gifts are exempt from capital gains tax, and the donor will receive income tax relief on the full market value of shares at the time of sale.
