Bio:

Julie McCran studied Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art from 1983-88. Julie is currently a Vice Principal at Edinburgh College and is the Campus Director of the Milton Road Campus.

Her main areas of responsibility include Learning and Teaching; Quality Enhancement, Quality Assurance, Equality & Diversity, Student Services; Student Association; Professional Development for Academics (research); Learning Resources; Equalities – cultural competence and the quality of the student/customer experience.

Bio:

Partner, Morton Fraser LLP
Adrian is a solicitor in private practice and a partner in law firm Morton Fraser. He is a commercial lawyer with 25 years’ experience of advising companies, charities and local and national government. He has advised a number of charities on the establishment of their trading subsidiaries and a number of social enterprises on their start up and development.

He is also a trustee of Longridge Towers School, the Exhibiting Societies of Scottish Artists, Autism Ventures Scotland and Scottish Language Dictionaries.
He is a director of branding and digital agency, Hookson. He was previously a designated member of St Andrews Property Investment Fund, a trustee of the Muir Maxwell Trust and chairman of the Commissioners of Queen Street Gardens.

Duncan Bremner

Bio:

Duncan Bremner works as an artist, producer, arts administrator and curator. His background is predominantly
in museums and gallery practice; researching, commissioning and presenting contemporary visual and public art projects in Scotland and in Europe, for himself, for regional institutions and national organisations.

Duncan is the Executive Director for Citizen Curator, a participatory contemporary arts organisation investigating the history
and identity of Leith and North Edinburgh.

Bio: 

Artist and Lecturer (Royal College of Art, London)

Kate is a sculptor whose practice includes performative lectures, video, drawings, texts and objects; which are
often all brought together in the same exhibition. She was made a Fellow of the Royal College in 2009 and is
presently External Examiner at UWIC, Sunderland and Wimbledon (MA).

Zoë Fothergill

Bio:

Zoë Fothergill graduated from ECA’s MFA in Contemporary Art Practice in 2012. Zoë won the John Watson Prize
and as a result presented a new body of work at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Spring 2014 that she initiated on a Creative Scotland funded residency at Hospitalfield Arts in Arbroath.

She has recently shown work at Rhubaba and Embassy galleries, in Edinburgh (2013), at Flood, in Dublin (2013) and at Film Forum in Los Angeles and Spectacle Theater in Brooklyn (2014). www.zoefothergill.com

Dennis J. Reinmüller

Bio:

Dennis J. Reinmüller has been born in Kiel, Germany. In 2006 he migrated to the UK to work as a translator for
videogames until 2009 when he was accepted to Edinburgh College of Art.

He graduated from Sculpture in 2013 and has since exhibited at Summerhall, the Royal Scottish Academy and during Glasgow International. Recently he was shortlisted for the Catlin Art Prize 2014.

Augustus Veinoglou

Bio:

Augustus Veinoglou is an Edinburgh based artist, and is a studio holder in Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop. In
2012 he started Snehta residency an artist residency programme open to international artists that focuses on research whilst introducing res artists to the Athenian art world.

The residency aims on introducing resident artists to the community of Kypseli and vice versa (Kypseli, residency location). Augustus’s own work stems from the appropriation of architectural and spatial elements that describe the transitory state of situation and spaces.
