New shared Project Space in Creative Laboratories
Call for applications / proposals
From 2017, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop will be running a second Project Space in the Creative Laboratories, offering a shared space for up to 4 sculptors. Applications / proposals are now invited for this new space.
Applications are welcome from artists working within contemporary sculpture practice who wish to work in a shared studio space.
Guidelines and Rental Rates
The Labs Project Space provides a clean, bright working space, shared between 4 artists, with natural light, sink, and wifi.
Work in this space must be conducive to shared working and not have a negative impact on other artists sharing the space (noise, fumes, dust, etc).
Artists working in the Labs Project Space can also use the Courtyard and other workspaces at the workshop level (subject to booking and availability).
1 week – £30 per week*
3 months – £100 per month*
* Rates include ESW membership. (Additional charges apply: see Info for Artists).

IMPORTANT NOTE: maximum total attachment size per email is 10MB
Applications are reviewed by Assistant Director, Gordon Munro who will aim to respond to proposals within 4 weeks of their being received.
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop offers purpose-built facilities for artists, with well-equipped Wood, Metal and Mixed Media Workshops, Education Space, 26 studios, two shared Project Spaces, outdoor working spaces and meeting areas, across two recently opened purpose-built premises: Bill Scott Sculpture Centre, which opened in June 2012, and Creative Laboratories which opened in 2015.
