Membership
ESW is a membership organisation. Members have a say in how the organisation
is run and to facilitate open communication between ESW management
and our members we appoint an elected representative who serves
a 2-year term and studio-holders representatives all of whom attend
board meetings and sit on management committees. We hold an annual
AGM at which members have voting rights and organise meetings and
get-togethers for members throughout the year.
Membership runs from April to March and fees are £40 and £30
(concession) per year. If you join after April a different rate may
apply - see below for rates.
You do have to be a member to work as an individual in the workshop
and to hold a studio but membership is not necessary for individuals,
groups or organisations taking part in education activities, tours
or visits or for artists taking part in projects and events.
Jennie Temple is the Members’ Representative until November
2008.
Emma Herman-Smith and Frances Priest are currently Studio-holders
Representatives.
