Biography

I am currently studying a Masters in Contemporary Art Theory at Edinburgh College of Art, focusing on perceptions of Community Art and the current state of Art Education.

My recent project: www.artachat.co.uk, is based on the model of a radio talk show and aims to create new, inclusive dialogues between artist and audiences in a physical and dynamic way.

In December 2007 I co-founded the artist run space ten til ten. in the regenerating area of Tradeston, Glasgow. Our incentive is to support local and International Artists as well as bring excitement and interest to an area previously devoid of any cultural organisations.

Working as a radio presenter for Leith Fm allows me to ignite discussions between a wide spectrum of guests and listening public. I am using my radio show to raise important community issues, forge inclusive, ongoing partnerships between diverse organisations and empower interested members of the public to produce and present aspects of the show themselves.
