Tending to shy away from the autonomous object and stopping short of installation, my work is generally made up of two or more individual units that constitute a form of system, unified by material and construction method.
Over the past year I have been working on an ongoing series of works, made up of a growing collection of interchangeable modules. These were assembled in a variety of combinations, depending on the space available and the number of units that had been made up to that point.
The unfixed nature of the assembly, more related to the practicalities of flat-pack furniture, allows the work to change each time that it is shown and also be imaginatively transformed in the mind of the viewer.
