Do you have to be a member to work at ESW?
No, anyone aged 16 or over can work at ESW in any of the shared working spaces (Education Space, Project Space, IT Suite, Metal Workshop, Wood Workshop). Members pay half the price of non members.

When will the building project be finished?
Phase 1, the new Sculpture Centre, is scheduled for completion in April 2012, and we hope to be up and running in May 2012.
Construction on phase 2, the Creative Laboratories, is scheduled to begin in July 2012, with a completion date around August 2013.

How do I apply for a studio?
Studio are allocated after applicaiton and selection - full information on the procedure can be found here. ESW will be inviting applications for studios in the new Sculpture Centre from September 2011 - please email Gordon Munro to express interest.

What facilites will be available in the new Sculpture Centre?
26 studios, five production spaces, a research space, IT facilities, meeting rooms, and 2 apartments for visiting artists.

Can I visit ESW?
Yes, individual or group tours of the workshop and facilities can easily be arranged, booking in advance is preferred. We can also arrange studio visits if you're interested in meeting particular artists working at ESW.
